David is a hands down, amazing professional repairman. The best. He drove out of his normal service area to help us. He fixed our dryer after our ridiculous home warranty service told us it would be too hard, and he took a step further cleaning it out, and cleaned our washer too. His honesty was a welcome relief to every other service man that has ever visited our home. Thank goodness for David!!!! Don't even think about calling anyone else if you need a repair--call him and nobody else!
In a word: AWESOME. In a few more words: David is knowledgeable, friendly, punctual and very clearly cares about what he does. He not only fixed my dryer but took the time to explain to me how everything work and what I should buy if I ever decide to upgrade. Oh, and the price is great. Seriously, give him call.
David texted me back within half an hour of my initial query, let me know what he guessed was the issue with our non-clothes-drying dryer, and came over to assess a few hours later, the same day! Even better, he was polite, kind and good to talk with, as he checked out the situation. He discovered that the issue wasn't what he had guessed--not actually a mechanical problem, but a vent/placement problem. David is as trustworthy and honest as you can find in any business. I manage a duplex in mid-city and I hired him to fix a dryer in 2015. He did a wonderful job and its still working today! I called him back again for a different unit in 2016. After putting in the time and effort into fixing one problem, another surfaced that proved too costly to salvage the machine. The washer repair Guru took good care of our machine. We were a bit concerned that the old Maytag washer may have finally bit the dust. It was simply not running like it should. We could not have asked for a better experience. Simply a excellent experience. Arrived on time and inspected the machine, at the end of day it was sock stuck in the machine. We live in Venice, CA and are very pleased to write a review for the Washer and Dryer Repair Guru. Our Maytag Washer was not doing anything, simply would not start. One day working the next day not, we thought the machine was a done for. David, the Guru, was able to diagnosis the machine on the phone. He was pleasant from start to finish. The lid-switch had failed. He removed and replaced the switch. The machine came back to life and working great. It was "old-school" service.
Living in Los Angeles has so many advantages however very hard to find a good repairman for one's washer and dryer. That has been changed as of today, we are very happy that we found the Washer and Dryer Repair Guru. Their work was simply exceptional from start to finish. Replaced control panel on Sears Kenmore Elite front loading washing machine. Then highly professional, asked for details about what was not working properly, then informed me that they would have to order a part, requested the model number of machine to make sure they got correct part, projected accurately how long it would take before they received the part. Came when promised and installed the new part efficiently. Extremely friendly and professional.
