I am writing this review on behalf of my wife. She sustained a distal radius fracture. Emergency room reduction was unsuccessful and we were referred to the orthopedist on call- Dr, Gardner. She wanted a different physician but er were informed that we had to see Dr. Gardner because he was on call. The next day we spent several hours waiting to be seen only to be told to go home and they would contact us the next day with a plan. Dr. Gardner is truly exceptional—an absolute lifesaver! My son came to him with a severely fractured scapula, an injury that was not only painful but also quite complex. Wonderful experience with Dr. Gardner and his clinic. He was able to get me in for surgery quickly after I broke my wrist. Not only is Dr. Gardner a competent surgeon, he was attentive and kind during all of my follow-up visits. His clinic was organized and efficient, and I was always able to get in and out in a timely manner. Cannot recommend Dr. Gardner and his team enough!
I had a head on collision 20 years ago and was life flighted to Erlanger. I had excellent care then. Fast forward almost 20 years to the date, I slipped and took a hard fall and dislodged the original metal and screws. I was transferred back to Erlanger and once again blessed with another amazing surgeon. His beside manner was incredible and his work was phenomenal. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I live 2 hours away.
