In Monroe's historic downtown, you'll find Warehouse No 1. Restaurant. Our family-owned spot has been serving the community authentic Louisiana cuisine since we opened back in 1980. We're known for our award-winning food and scenic overlook of the Ouachita River. It's this combination that's kept families coming back year after year. My mother and I both ordered the 6 ounce filet and the taste was horrible. The waiter was notified and offered to make something else but when a I said no, nothing else was offered. I’m not the type to want my meal for free. I would have paid for it regardless. The manager never came by to check on us. I had to find the manager as we were leaving to let him know how disappointed I was with the customer service and food. He acted like he didn’t care either. We won’t be going back.
RecommendedWe came as a party of 17 near the restaurant's closing time. They did a great job accommodating us even though it was a bit chaotic getting us all organized. Everyone enjoyed their meals and it was a nice family time. Shout out to Nate, Michael, Drew & the entire staff for their excellent service.
Called to make reservations and they said they weren’t accepting any and it was first come, first served. Get there and they’re only letting people in with reservations. I wasn’t happy since I did try to make one and they said I couldn’t. After talking to a couple people, they sat us immediately! This was our first problem here and they fixed it. Love this place! Food is great and now I can say the staff is absolutely wonderful! Definitely recommend.
