In Monroe's historic downtown, you'll find Warehouse No 1. Restaurant. Our family-owned spot has been serving the community authentic Louisiana cuisine since we opened back in 1980. We're known for our award-winning food and scenic overlook of the Ouachita River. It's this combination that's kept families coming back year after year. Dinner was phenomenal. Our waiter Craig was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. Finished dinner off with a delicious piece of cheesecake.

Perfectly crisp hush pups. Grilled shrimp was the BOMB. Grits were very good. Gumbo was spot on. Definitely recommend if you need a place to stop for some good food.
This is our #1 choice to eat and have never been disappointed!

5 stars I really enjoyed my dinner and T.J. was a phenomenal waiter/host!! It was toward the end of the night so he had time to chat a little with me. I felt like I was with an old friend. The food is exceptional and the atmosphere in the building was very peaceful. It’s a place with history. I had the bacon wrapped quail appetizer and the blackened shrimp and grit cakes entree.
