Daphne and Jasper LOVE coming to Walters. My favorite thing is how tired they are after doggie daycare. I really appreciate the professionalism of the staff and the care that my dogs recieve. Trina Snow
Awesome Place! – Been there twice with my sheltie and both times got better than perfect results. The staff is courteous, super friendly and professional. They treat my dog like he is part of their family. Prices are very reasonable as well. Always a pleasurable and painless experience. Will be back soon! Highly recommended.
My Puppy's Favorite Place! – I have a nine month old puppy who runs up 33rd street in order to get to Walter's. She absolutely loves going to day care and drags me inside. Usually, she has some anxiety when I leave her, but never at Walter's. She runs up to the day care attendants and can't wait for me to leave! She has obviously bonded with all of the staff there, and I wouldn't trust leaving her with anyone else. Terrible place – In all fairness the first time that I brought my cat in for a grooming I was very happy with the job that they did, the second time was a very different story. The groomer cut my cat twice while grooming her and I was never notified. It wasn't until I brought her home and started petting her that I noticed these cuts. I love Walter's!!! – The bottom line is that everyone at Walter's LOVES dogs and it shows. It's the cleanest day care facility I've ever been in. When I walk in the door you can't even smell dogs. I have two Yorkies and Walter always makes them look so great when he grooms them. I would never go any place else. Such a pleasant experience!!!!
Patient, kind, an amazing grooming! – I use Walter's for grooming and their magnificent day care. My little Yorkie pulls me like a Siberian Husky when we get to the corner of 33rd and 3rd all the way to Walter's where we are always greeted by the friendliest and warmest people. "it will grow back" Beware of this place – Our beloved family dog left looking like a scalped chicken. We provided pictures and spent time with Walter to make sure we were on the same page. The first visit was very good. The next vist was a dog lover's nightmare! Our dog was not groomed by Walter(20 yrs experience), he was groomed by a fill-in groomer. Reviewer: Tamron Hall, MSNBC anchor. Left very little instruction. Expectations were not met-- we're sorry for that. Tried to compromise. She became hostile. Told us to call the cops, refused to pay, name-dropped Oprah, Donald Trump, insisted paying full price. Snatched phone out of employee's hand, claimed "there's more than one way to skin a cat", condemned employees for her anger issues ("I only got mad twice this year, I'm a very Zen person!"), threatened us with her lawyer. Untrustworthy and Secretive – We brought our puppy for a trial daycare service at Walter's. We went on the weekend and they showed us the "playroom" which was small and located in the basement. During our 1 week trial, we asked to see our puppy on a week day (mainly for fear of overcrowding) they refused claiming that it would be an insurance liability . They cited the following example: If I went downstairs and the dogs smelled someone new, a dog under their care may jump over the fence and bite me. NOT SURE THAT IS THE ENV... read more
injured pet – Walter's injured my dog. They claimed no responsibility for it were rude about the whole scenario. Not only did injure him (he limped for over a week) the hair cut was choppy and uneven. For your dog's safety don't take it there!!!
