In 1921 Bruce and Bob Walters opened a bicycle shop which in 1922 became a Harley Davidson dealer. In 1931 Bruce and his wife Gladys Walters moved from Galesburg to Peoria and they purchased Harley Davidson Sales and Service. In 1949 Bruce built a new store that was known as one of the most modern in Illinois at the time. Thanks so much Justin and Craig for taking care of my TriGlide on 7/21/17. It was the first day of our trip from Ohio to Wyoming and the bike was not happy in the 116 degree heat index of that day. Managed to get to your parking lot where it sputtered and died. You immediately took it into the shop and began working on it. The problem was fixed and our itinerary did not need to change!!
It was a nice experience everyone is super friendly ,very well organized from( sales) to apparel, to parts,and a very clean shop impressive !! Great job !!

Love being a Harley girl. I seen one of the bikes I wanted I'm going to work up to getting it it was 7500 it was a 750 just the right size for me just might have to be loaded down a half inch a little bit with a different seat.
