In 1921 Bruce and Bob Walters opened a bicycle shop which in 1922 became a Harley Davidson dealer. In 1931 Bruce and his wife Gladys Walters moved from Galesburg to Peoria and they purchased Harley Davidson Sales and Service. In 1949 Bruce built a new store that was known as one of the most modern in Illinois at the time. These were great people to deal with for my first Harley. Stann and David in sales were true professionals and treated my grandson and I like we were family. With Clayton and his parts people I always felt confident that I was getting the best parts for my new bike. I have never seen a better organized and cleaner maintenance shop such as that of WBHD. Justin is always pleasure to do business with and is very knowledgeable. I've been to other shops closer to me and have never received the service, like I do at Walter Bros. WBHD is worth the drive. The shop is clean and organized and the Techs are friendly and take time to explain any issues and the plan to repair your bike. From sales to service WBHD is bar none the best shop Ive been to..
