In 1921 Bruce and Bob Walters opened a bicycle shop which in 1922 became a Harley Davidson dealer. In 1931 Bruce and his wife Gladys Walters moved from Galesburg to Peoria and they purchased Harley Davidson Sales and Service. In 1949 Bruce built a new store that was known as one of the most modern in Illinois at the time. Awesome people to deal with! Expected buying this first Harley for it to be as cringe worthy and aggravating as buying a vehicle from a pushy car salesman. QUITE the opposite! Great staff, great sense of humors, very knowledgeable and you do NOT walk away feeling screwed over at all! I sure do wish everything you bought in life felt like this. Really great place to do business with. They make sure you are happy and that you know how everything on the bike works.Thank you Walters Brothers!

The staff was amazing, friendly, polite and way too helpful. Lol. We stopped to LOOK on the way home from our vacation and my husband traded his bike for a new one. Thanks for all your help, enjoyed our experience at your shop.
