Dr. Prater is an excellent physician and a caring person in general. His staff is excellent. The facility is pleasant. I am very happy with the care I receive at the Heart Institute.
Numerous friends said that Dr. Prater is their heart doctor and he was HIGHLY recommended. They were so right!
While he was very nice, he didn't explain to me my diagnosis and I'm not fully understanding the tx plan
He took the time to explain my options and I was not rushed during the process. I was given his assessment of the issue in a very kind way. Went back two days later with my other half to discuss the options again.
