I had my annual eye examination with Dr. Koontz. Dr. Koontz provided a thorough examination and explained everything to me in great detail. She is extremely courteous and professional, and I will continue to go this specific Walmart Vision Center due to the professionalism of the doctors.
I have been a patient at this office for several years and never expected to be treated this way. My contact lens prescription expired by one day, and despite Florida law allowing prescriptions to be valid for up to two years (unless there is a medical condition), they refused to authorize it. I am not diabetic, I am healthy, and I have no medical issues that would justify this denial. When I called politely to ask for help, the front desk was extremely unprofessional, refused to listen, and actually raised her voice at me. ... read more
