Not very professional in customer service, used them in pass on two big jobs to remove trees and grind stumps and was happy, we contacted them this spring to do a small job they came and said a quote will be in mail and texted to us and that it would be about two weeks out, been 3 weeks now and have not heard from them, if job was not worth his time should of been told up front , i guess he just want big money jobs, no longer need his service and will not use him again for lack of customer service proffesionalism.

We have been using Wallingford Tree Service for decades now. They have provided everything from tree climbers to raise the canopies of our trees, to removal of storm-downed trees, to nurturing and caring for an ancient family tree in our front yard. Their knowledge and expertise is by far the best. They received national certifications and awards that others haven't. John and Chris run an efficient, yet caring business. After signing a contract in August and asking for the work to be done in September or early October- no response.An email stated they would do the work on October 23. On that day no one showed up, no one called or texted. No one responded to my calls. I went to their office. A few days later they notified me that they would be there on November 2. They removed trees and wood but didn’t finish grinding surface roots. Adding topsoil and reseeding I had to assume would be done in the spring. Once again no communication as to wh... read more

This Wallingford Tree Service accessed my property to reach a neighbor’s Tree without my permission back in January. I called and sent pics of the damage the trucks caused to my lawn and sidewalk to Owner-John came out back then, saw him on my Ring doorbell, never came back or called. Called him yesterday (May) and he turns up hostile, refusing to help, claiming my neighbor says I am intimidating and the problem. This is not how you treat people where you are in the WRONG! Horrible! These people should not be in business. With the recent storm and a tree through my house I was told before 6am they would remove the tree that day. They were at the house @10am and said they were right around the corner. At 2;45 I was told they were stuck on a closed road. I told them repeatedly through the day I could get a crane if they could not make it that day so the roof could be covered before the nights rain.
