For over a year I have been asking the local State farm insurance office and I also called corporate and ask them to take me off the mailing list. They have continued to phone call me, text me, send me emails, and send me postal mail. Corporate assured me I would be off their list and then today I get another mailing from them. I don't know what else to do.....
On August 15th a someone hit my car at night while it was parked . Driver didn’t come to me and say anything but good thing I have cameras on the front of my house. Found the driver and her insurance was State Farm . Filed a claim took long for that cause they could not get ahold of the person that hit me . Finally got ahold of them and they said they did it . While we cannot share specific details in this public response, our Claims Department contacted the complainant on October 25, 2021, to address her concerns. We were unable to resolve this matter to the consumer’s satisfaction, but we will review and consider new information if presented.
On 8/09/21 I called and talked to Alex, the State Farm agent, for a quote on my manuf. home insurance. He quoted $504 I paid with my credit card and I felt relief that it was done. On 8/23/21 Alex calls and says the Underwriters say they can't insure my home due to it's location at **** * *******manufactured home park. No reason given. It would have saved me much aggravation if he had checked with the Underwriters before he took the money! Insured with state farm for a number of years. I have 2 boys and myself. My youngest son had a fender bender that I fixed myself and the rep from Clint s**** office called me stating she was going to cancel my services if I didn’t give her my sons info. Which they already had. I called the office and way told my coverage was still good and he will find out why Lynn wants to cancel my policy. State Farm has been the worst!!!! I bought a house and a month later I got hit by IDA. My roof got severely damaged by the storm and I had multiple water leaks in different rooms. I filed a claim which was assigned to an adjuster. The day the adjuster was supposed to come and inspect the house, he didn't show up, so I had to make multiple calls and get switched around until I got a supervisor to re-assign my claim to a different adjuster. Worst Customer Service imaginable. I've been A State Farm insured since about 1984. That means nothing to State Farm. Final straw for me is their refusal to follow through on a Comprehensive claim I just made. I was driving in a parking lot, pulled over into the firelane and stopped to pick up my daughter as she exited the store. A motorcyclist behind me almost rearended me as he raced through the lot. We have been with State Farm for 22 years. No claims in the last 16 years except for Road Side Service. Because we used Road Side service 4 times in 48 months they are taking away our Roadside Service. We pay over $6,000 in insurance to State Farm a year and they say we use spent more in Roadside service than we pay them, so they are removing it. This is wrong.
My car was in a Hurricane and my car was towed to a gas station. My car sat for 2 weeks on a gas station lot and I kept calling State Farm about when the towing company that worked for them was going to get my car. Back and fourth with them for a whole month on the phone and then finally I called my agent and took it up with them, The towing company took my car to different dealer then the one I wanted them to take it to. I find it very unfair that state farm wants me to send them copies of both my 2019 and 2020 taxe returns in order for them to finish processing the second policy that I took out. They claim that it's high but it doesn't matter I took it out because I wanted to have a policy for both of my children and I can afford it. But I guess when your a African American not living in the high end areas your not privileged enough to have two polices.
