Never call the 1-800 # They blame you first and ask questions later to blame you more. We have a house, 4 cars and 2 motorcycles insured and they treated us like garbage. Terrible customer service. Suspicious practices. Bait and switch insurnace. Would like to be part of a class action Lawsuit when available.
Have full coverage insurance call for a tow at 10am its now 10:30 pm still no tow and 3 different towing companies was dispatched spoke with 6 different agents and for the last one to cancel my tow request and I had to do another order like are you serious they hung the phone up in my face 3xs this company is ridiculous and customer are obviously not important i will be changing insurance

State farm unfortunately has proven to be a company of zero integrity . Make sure to get every step in writing and record any conversation. They will lie to your face after telling you something else and the try to place blame of preferred service providers. Steve H********* of the ********* ****area has a long standing history of purposely praying on his customers and does everything possible to short you on coverage. He is paid commission when he saves the company money. Stay far away this company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I would give State Farm zero star if possible. We transferred all auto, house and life insurances to State Farm last fall. We had a wind damage to the roof this May and State Farm rejected our claim despite all the evidences provided. One month later, another strong storm hit and tore shingles off my roof. They finally processed the second claim but cancelled our insurance policy right before it expired. They told us it is too risky to continue the policy with us. It has been 2 and half weeks and state farm hasn’t move my car from the towing company to the shop yet! And the rental call me and informed me that state farm will only pay my rental till Friday which September 24 2021. State Farm excuse was they can not find the towing company and the funny thing is I provided them with the the phone number 2 and half weeks ago! Canceled insurance, told us 3 months later so had no idea we weren’t insured and then took out $500 from account they won’t refund for service they canceled months before. I call that stealing.
On August 27, 2021 I was hit while stopped at a red light. The other driver has state farm too which should have made this very easy for them. I provided all documentation they asked for including the police report showing I was 0% at fault. I was given the run around for weeks, I was told something different by the ten or more people I spoke to. The shops estimate of damages was just under $2200. We have been state farm customers since 2006 and have never before filed any claims with them. We had water damage in our home on 8/27/21 and state farm adjuster denied our claim without having come out to our property to assess the damages. They are denying claims left and right as we have heard from others in our community. I am beyond tired of having to beg our insurance company for assistance.
