Some of the funkiest folks in town do all of their gift and holiday shopping at Wacko, also known as Soap Plant. One of the most notorious and eclectic shops in Los Angeles, it's a sure bet that you'll find things that you never knew existed. From Sumo wrestler lunch boxes to patchouli soaps and kiss "Psycho Circus" dolls, expect the unexpected. It's the perfect place if you want to take home a little bit of Hollywood hipster heaven.

This place has your bobblehead! And then some... For a unique selection of far-out, retro, vintagey stuff, Wacko is a great place to shop! Hawaiiana, wrestling books, Shagart, tin toys, much more! Beyond Good Wacko is by far one of the best and most unique stores in Los Angeles. I was lucky enough to walk into the store randomly one day, and spent over two hours looking around. They have one of the largest collections of unique gifts I have ever seen. They are part book store, part toy store, and part art gallery. It feels like a grown up, indy kids FAO Shwartz. Wickety Wack I totally love this store. This is a great place to shop for teens. There are all kinds of hip and weird items. Need a dashboard saint, some Dirty Girl soap? Here's the place to find it. This place is perfect for finding a gift for the person who has everything and needs nothing. The staff is pierced and covered with tattoos. The items for sale explain the name. Wacko is wacky fun! Whether you're in the market for some Dirty Girl bubble bath or a glow-in-the-dark dashboard saint or even some Deep South insider art, this is the place to come. Thumbs up I just found this place while on a hunt for Tiki glasses. I couldn't find them anywhere until I found this store, then I couldn't decide on which of the hundreds to choose from. There is also an eccentric art gallery inside. A definate must see.
Guilty Pleasure Wonderland Wacko is exactly that. A super cool novelty store with tons of wacky gifts, off the wall collectibles, bizarre toys and other items that are really "out there." A great store for a silly birthday gift, a choice pez dispenser or halloween costume accessories. The perfect place to waste $15 or $20 on something unique.
