I went to Dr. W. Steven Ku (23-AUG-2019) for a second opinion about fluid leaking out of my right eye after a cornea transplant by a different doctor. My eye was filling up with fluid leaking from my right eye, dripping down my cheek, by merely squinting, and there were also flashes of light too when blinking. As a result, the pressure in the right eye had fallen to 7mmHG (normal is 12-to-22mmHG). Yet, Dr. W. Steven Ku said "I don't think it is leaking". Dr. Steven Ku was wrong. It was leaking, which explains why the eye pre... read more
I had arrived on time for my appointment in the morning, but I along with another 6 patients were waiting for an hour for hour appointments. When he finally arrived he did not spend more than 7 minutes for my appointment session. He only asked one question if I had a history of glaucoma. He was so rushed and opened the door signaling for me to leave. I had not a single second for me to explain that I had eye infection last week, or any of my concerning complaints. I felt completely glossed over, disrespected, and dismissed c... read more
I have never been treated so rudely by a physician in my life! Dr. Ku was short, unpleasant and treated me like A child. I asked one question and he then he interrupted me and said “stop talking”. As a retired nurse, I was appalled. Do you not see this doctor. Most doctors will explain your condition patiently and allow you to ask questions about your condition.
I received excellent care from DR. Ku and his staff. They listened to all my questions and concerns and I was treated in a very courteous and professional manor. I will definitely be going back for my cataract surgery on the other eye.
I want to express that North Dallas Eye Associates, provided outstanding cataract surgery. Every stage of the process leading to the surgery itself was managed professionally. I want to personally thank Dr. Ku and all of his staff in assisting in obtaining positive results.
I had a very poor experience visiting Dr. Ku. The wait time was more than an hour. The worst part is the doctor's arrogant attitude. He didn't talk to me but only talk to the nurse for what he wanted to know right in front of me. Like "Ask her how old she is?" And he only spent 3-5 minutes on me. Then he asked me to leave because there is nothing he can find. He didn't say anything else. He just turned around and walked away quickly without leaving me any chance to ask any question.
Dr. Ku has an unorthodox office policy of 'first come, first served' in lieu of 'first appt time, first served.' If you show up at 8:50am for your 9am appointment and 15 other people show up before you for their 9:30am & 9:45am appts, the 15 other people will be seen first. Dr. Ku set this policy and is happy with it, he told me, because it serves HIM best. It doesn't matter that you might expect to be seen in the vicinity of your appt time. Dr. Ku has put himself first. Be advised.
My mother has gone to Dr Ku for several years and treated her with utmost respect. I have gone to Dr Ku several years now and he has not treated me bad except this visit. I was so appauled with his staff and him that I am finding another Dr. He was so rude and told me to come back in 6 months. His techs are just as rude as he is. Never again will I go to him. there are many more Dr's in this town to choose from. He is not God.
This was the 3rd. time I went to N. Dallas Eye Assoc. for an eye exam, previously saw Dr. Elieff, but due to scheduling problem went with Dr. Ku. Visits make you feel like you are in a factory on an assembly line. Technicians due 90% of the work, you are lucky to spend 5 minutes with the doctors. In fact Dr. Ku introduced himself twice in the span of 20 seconds, like he forgot he already did it!? They asked if I wanted to schedule caterac surgery before looking at me? $225 presc. $40 more.$$$
