We ate at the chef’s table. In the kitchen area. Hard to describe. I didn’t know the chef or the restaurant beforehand. My wife did. Look, the chef’s counter dinner experience for me was incredible. This place is the real deal and is top notch. I would not hesitate recommending it to my mom. Good luck getting a reservation. �.
Entire experience was amazing. The gentleman who took care of us, Stan, was absolutely superb. My fiancee has some dietary restrictions and Stan was extremely patient and understanding w all questions that she had. Ambiance, decor, cocktails and cuisine was 5 star, but the service that Stan provided put the overall experience over the top. Will definitely be back.

Good. At times truly remarkable food. At other times just good. What I liked was that the kitchen seems fearless. Striking out beyond convention and norm into the realm of near-experimentation. Beet and foie gras in a melt-in-your-mouth concoction of pure delight for example. Very well done. A rockfish in fish fumet that, while cloudy, was truly a delight in flavor. Volt is a top notch restaurant in Frederick. The service is beyond the best anywhere. What makes the service so superb is the people. Every server there seems to enjoy their work. Each takes the time to answer questions and smile. Completely enjoyable and professional staff. Do the pairing. The wine is above what you’ll experience anywhere in Frederick. Be prepared to try delicious yet unique foods. We’ve visited the Volt many times since they opened and we’ve never been disappointed. Enjoy!
Everything was phenomenal. Absolute perfection. There wasn't anything I didn't like.
