I unfortunately unfortunately used @[525629814193201:VITAS Healthcare] at a relative's recommendation when my mom was passing away. Based on how things went with the "care" they ultimately took of her, I'd rather use my 9 millimeter take care of my own needs when that time comes.
Most of the hospice workers who looked at my mother 6 years ago before she died were absolutely dreadful. The worst of the bunch was a very stupid/ annoying chaplin who refused to believe my mother's DX, and that she was so frail, or the dreadful RN who we never spoke to before or since but she called one saturday night at home at 8PM to tell us that my mother looked adorable in her pink flowered nightgown that I bought her. As a Nurse I have worked with the teams at VITAS over the years and I find them to be the best hospice in central Florida. What a bunch of awesome folks! They do their job with love and kindness. That is why I chose them to give me support and care during my fight with ALS.
