The staff might have some rules that don't match your interest, such a limited phone calls/one on one sessions with a therapist. I believe the most therapy happens within the group. You meet people and hear their stories. Some can relate to your story, some have better/worse lives/situations you're going through. Take advantage of the opportunities and the activities. I was a client at Vista Pines 3 different times! 3rd times a charm;) Ironically many of us call Vista “the Magical $h!t Show” bc so many of us myself included come to there in desperate need of help & healing! We come to Vista w/our bags of metaphoric “$h!t” that we need to unpack! In the unpacking process there is a lot of “Show” aka acting out and breakdowns that take place before the healing can!
