I almost bought an Elantra today. Sat down to finalize the deal but noticed the Dealer added $1,700 to the price of the vehicle for a package I didn't want. This included things like vin etching and "free" oil changes. I said I didn't want it but they refused to remove it from the pricing. They said it is their policy to charge customers for this. Disappointed. Went in to drive a Palisade. Was told the sales person would call me first thing in the morning to go over numbers and my trade. I called them at 5:10 when I hadn’t heard from them. Told me I’ll have to come back in to discuss numbers. I’ve purchased 2 vehicles in the past year. I’ve never had someone make me come in TWICE to discuss numbers. That coupled with the fact that everything on their lot is $4,000 over window sticker. I won’t be giving them my business.
