Hard to find, worth the effort. – A small pie is enough for two. It is more comfortable to sit in the back bar. The pizza is why you come. It is best to get two toppings max. This pie is supurb the next day for lunch eaten cold. If you like thin crust this not the place for you. People come back here for a pie every time that they are back in town. Vinny has sold the main facility and the new owners are keeping the same pizza but are adding salads, sandwiches, deserts, etc. Could be even better.
A Must Visit! – I have been going to Vincent's since I worked at Westinghouse in 1967. If nothing else you have to see Vincent in action (if he is still there). Before I moved to Florida I asked him to come down and keep me supplied in pizza's. He said he flies pizza's down to Florida. I have know him all these years and still don't know if he was kidding me. lol. This article has moved me to call him and see if he is still there and ask him if he really will send me a pizza to Florida.
The Vinny Pie – This is the best pizza in the city and arguably the best pizza south of NYC. Everyone should have it at least once i'm having some in an hour!!! :-)
It may look like a truck stop, but it serves up a mean slice of pie...emphasis on mean. – The Scene It's not cozy and it's not quaint. The dank atmosphere seems to have been contrived in an effort to prohibit diners from clearly seeing the decorative beer mirrors, wooden benches, and flour-doused countertops. Vincent's is a dive bar that just happens to serve pie. The Food Portions are huge. It's amazing that the pie pan manages to contain two-inches of thick crust, bubbling cheese, and fresh toppings. More dough than anythi... read more
Vinny's is Underated – Not just the best pizza in Pittsburgh. It's the best pizza I've ever had. The environment is that of a small dive restaurant and that makes it that much better. Everyone's sick of fabricated cookie cutter restaurants, and Vinny's is one of a kind. They've been offered all kinds of franchise opportunities and Vinny chooses to keep it unique and original. Boo! - chains, All Hail Vinny's Pizza!
Yummmmmmmmmm – Been from San Fransico to New York..........Vincents Pizza Park on Route 30 near is absoultley THE BEST. I am totally addicted! MAIN LINE ME PLEASE!!
Fab-Excellent!!!! – When I moved to PGH PA, my husband introduced me to Vincents. It is the best pizza I have ever eaten. Everyone should try it!!!
To DIE FOR!!! – Vinnie Pie! What more can you say. It's the first thing I think of when I wake up, and the last thing before I go to sleep. It's simply amazing. How could a huge savory piece of dough cheese and sauce hold such a big place in my heart, I'll never know. The most amazing pizza in the world. Every person in their right mind should try this pizza, and if you don't like it, you're probably on drugs. The place is just how a pizza place should be, and the pizza is phenomenal! 10+++!
Hometown Meal – I grew up just down the road from the ORIGINAL Vincent's Pizza Park on Rt.30 to me it is the BEST PIZZA IN THE BURG , Vince never skimped on anything you always get a good hearty hometown meal at VINCENT'S, (It isn't Vincents unless it runs between your fingers and down your arm)
