Knock your socks off good pizza – My first time eating this pizza was an end of the term "party" my teacher had for us. we picked up 2 pizzas and took them back to the school I went to. when I got home that night I told my wife we have to go there you will love this food. we went once a week for six months. now we go as often as possible. This food is well worth the drive from anywhere.

A Vinnie Pie would be my choice as my last meal on earth – If I were dying today and I could have a final meal, it would honestly be a Vincent's pizza. I am a former Pittsburgher and make a trip to Vinnie's every time I go back to Pittburgh. I have been going for over 20 years and my parents have gone for 50 years. Vinnie's Pizza is without a doubt the best pizza on the planet. I have traveled to 40 U.S. states and 16 international countries. I have never found a pizza that compares. Yes, you are not going to a fine dining e... read more

The best in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – I've traveled to places all over the country for the last twenty years, and the first place I go when I come back into town is Vincent's. There is no other pizza worth mentioning. The world would be perfect if Vince built a shop in Penn Hills. If that happened, there would be no reason to leave Penn hills, except to go to Steeler games.

Best in da 'Burgh – A hole in the wall place with a parking lot the size of a truck stop. The pizza is piled high in toppings and I mean literally. Watch out when ordering your size of pizza. I saw a couple come in, order a large pizza, eat a piece each, and take the rest home because the pizzas are oversized. All the waitresses are good looking. If you don't smoke, you might want your pizza to go. It's like the "cool" thing to do there. They get a lot of business--too bad they only take cash. Best pizza in Pittsburgh!

A Pittsburgh Institution – I was raised on NY pizza, and Vincents is NOT NY style, but it's wonderful and unique in all the world. IMPORTANT: you have to eat Vincent's pizzas AT Vincents, the take-out is not the same, they're cooked more and are drier to hold up in a box. Yes it's a dive, get over it. Vincent's pizzas are cooked in a hot steam oven which makes the crust bubble up to 2" high and makes the crust crunchy on the outside and moist inside. There's "juice" on the bottom of the pan that's to die for. Break off some ... read more

Too greasy – It's the greasiest pizza I've ever had, not something I wish to put in my body.

Pizza Heaven! – My family has enjoyed Vincent's Pizza since before I was born. I remeber growing up on "Vinnie Pies"! It is the best pizza I have ever tasted. It is the only pizza that has tons of cheese, a fluffy crust, and doesn't drown you in tomato sauce. I am originally from Pittsburgh and now go to school in Boston. Vincent's is always one of the first places where we go to eat when I come home!

There is no other – If you haven't had Vinnie's - you haven't had Pizza! My family has been going to Vinnie's for over 30 years - the thick crust, with toppings just thrown (not placed) on - WOW! I've never had another Pizza that has come close. I now live in Hickory, NC and actually received the best birthday gift last year - a delivered Pie via overnight delivery (yes, a service they offer) - IT WAS GREAT! If you are in Pittsburgh, you need to stop by, you will not regret it
