Chose to sit outside because of the hour wait and it was soooo hot. Our waiter was excellent but the food left a lot to be desired. Nothing to get excited about.
First bad meal I have ever had at the Tavern, and it was BAD! Sent it back because it was stone cold. Fixed me a whole new filet and it was raw (rare instead of medium) and fatty. Asparigus was so over cooked you could not cut it. Didnt send it back, just wanted to be done.
Outstanding menu, great food, and great atmosphere! Why don’t I come more often?
It is a fun place to meet old friends and new best friends. Oh yea the food is great. As a plus you get to listen to Jeff sing and play.
