RecommendedMy family and I have lived in this community for going on 7 yrs now...I haven’t had any of the problems that I see ppl on here complaining bout...I actually think it is a nice place to live...yes the rent is a little high for some of the apts but look around at other places and u aren’t finding too many places that are cheaper...Melissa and the office staff do the best they can with what they are given to work with...I believe that everyone forgets...this is run by Horst Realty not Melissa and her staff...they just work here... read more
WILL NOT be selecting this place to call home. Potential residents DO NOT need to know personal information (gossip) about current residents who would potentially be our neighbors. In my current state I live in now, the rental agent could be given a fine and restitution costs for that.
they could include the electric back with the rent. they could update the electric wiring, plumbing, and maintenance to the appliances in the apartments in the buildings. Scale the rent so fixed income people can afford to live there too. Make it easier for people who are behind a month or two to catch up on the rent or electric. fire escape route posted on every floor of the buildings so residents know how to get out properly incase of a real fire. I have a whole list of things I could say but my biggest issue is that myself, my other half, and my pets are sitting here for the SECOND time with out ANY HEAT. Mind you its a solid 16 degrees out today.
I love my apartment in Holly Hall. It is usually quiet and I can't hear my neighbors. (Only heard them on New Year's Eve and Super Bowl Sunday. LOL) I needed to call maintenance only once but they were there right away and fixed the problem. The office staff are very friendly and have patiently answered all my questions when I first moved in. I am very happy here and am glad that I found Village of Pineford!
Its a great place. Only bummer is the windows downstairs are outdated and the stack washer and dryer causes us to constantly do laundry due to its smaller size. We have FANTASTIC neighbors that deal with our barking dogs and who are always social. I really dont see why people complain. The higher electric bills were expected. You get what you pay for. Dont get a super expiensive place here then complain about it. Staff is great too. They take care of any legitimate problem we have.
Shitty ass place to live. We pay our bills on time and because of a miscalculation on their part when we 1st moved into our apartment they want to add a fee of $86 to our electric bill smh Their excuse was that their computer systems don't know how to prorate rent...I call that BS!...Avoid this place at all cost. The assistant manager was very unprofessional and hung up on me when I told her that her staff didn't know how to count! Giving this place a star was being way too nice.
