Da Best! Especially for delivery – Let's face it. Sometimes you're too lazy to go to a restaurant. Villa Romana will deliver more than just pizza. My wife and I frequently order delivery and we actually split a veal parmagiana and salad and we don't go hungry EVER. The food comes quickly usually before they say it will be there and it's hot off the stove. You would think it would taste kind of greasy being delivered, but it is wonderful. Simply the Best! Magnifico! – I just took some out-of-town relatives to Villa Romana for the first time. After tonight, they may come back to California just to eat here! I have been eating at Villa Romana since I first discovered it in 1980. This year, they celebrate their 50th anniversary of high quality, high class Italian dining! 5 Stars in The Sunset Disrict? – Villa Romana is as close to a 5 star restaurant that I've ever been to in the inner sunset district...the service was superb, the food was impeccable, and the ambience was very Italian. The pizza was prepared by a real Italian who must be the owner because he sent over a complimentary "pizza bianca", which I had never tried before...it was delicious. Great Italian Food – Villa Romana has excellent Italian food. Everytime we have gone there the service is great and they always go out of their way to make sure we enjoy our meal. The one negative is that it is a small restaurant and it can fill up quickly. When it's busy you may have to wait for a table. Other than that, this place is one of the best.
What a Cute Restaurant! – Villa Romana is such a cute little Italian Restaurant. My boyfriend took me there and ever since then I have been thinking about what a great experience it was. The waiters are so cute and friendly. The two head waiters are Italian, and are very professional and know there stuff. The food was authentic. Che Bella!! – This restaurant is seriously underrated! I mean it's jam-packed every night, has great authentic Italian Food, a great "Italian" Staff, wonderful atmosphere and service, But, hasn't been discovered by those elusive food critics. And, what's More, it has been there in the same location for 50 Years! What's cool is that they are planning a big 50th Year Celebration which is sure to open the eyes of those same critics! This restaurant never ceases to surprise me. It is always getting better somehow. I mean really, how do they do it? The food is so delicious and fresh, it's amazing. I like the Italian Chefs and Waiters, they are very charming and certainly add to the Italian Feel of the restaurant. I am in lack of words here, all i can say is Excellent!
Awesome Find! – The inner sunset features a very nice little Italian Restaurant called the Villa Romana Ristorante. It has a great staff, exceptional food quality and service, and great overall vibe to it. I love the Fresco Paintings! Perfect for my Valentine's Day Date coming up, and yours as well!!!
Excellent Italian Restaurant! – Great food (huge servings). Superb reception and service. Hot waiters. Wonderful atmosphere. It's a really nice neighborhood restaurant.
