About this business

The Victor Cafe is nothing like your usual, run-of-the-mill Italian restaurants - for one, it is over 90 years old, secondly, it employs waiters with voices of angels! Located on Dickinson, this exceedingly popular dining destination has its waiters belting out divine arias, owing to its love for classical music. This may seem a little nontraditional for some, but Victor caters to those who like a little bit of culture in their daily routines. The ambiance is relaxed yet elegant, and authentic, Italian offerings such as clam... read more

The best place I've been to yet to have a family sit down without cooking! Since cooking is in my blood- it's a tough crowd to please! Everyone enjoyed their meal - after a celebratory shot of Crown in the upstairs bar, our party of 10 were seated promptly! The live opera performances and service are stellar. We will return again and again !

Had a wonderful evening great food, great company and great Staff! We even had a wonderful song beautifully sung for us. As we were on honeymoon and to top it all off we had several pictures taken with the "Rocky Balboa" memorabilia from the film. As this was the restaurant used in the film. You very much guys, will hope to come back again sometime The English & Scottish honeymooners

I think it is a unique experience that everyone should try in Philly if you appreciate music and opera! Very homey atmosphere. I have been there three times. Most of the food is above average! The Italian items are better than the other items in my opinion!
