Great emergency vet on the south side. We have brought in our pets several times for a variety of issues (including during the overnight hours) and they've always received quick, friendly, and excellent service. Thank you! Updating to add more info in July 2019: VSEC has been caring for our senior beagle mix Ginger after emergency surgery for a dog bite. Unfortunately, the ending to our story was not ideal, however, the staff and Dr May (especially) were exceptional. The communication was great and love & care our Ollie received was just as good as we could have gave him. Thank you.
You don't feel rushed in, rushed out! Dr. Stauffer explained every step and what to expect. Stephanie, and Beth, you two are great! I wish I could remember the vet tech's name that stayed with Bowie, and I (so sorry), she is awesome! All very caring folks! Thank you for getting Bowie back on track. He is doing GREAT!

Evidently my dogs like to visit Dr. Edwards with difficult medical cases! Seriously though, we were very happy to find Dr. Edwards again at a facility that we trust. I know my girls are in good hands.
35 days since our Maggie's first visit to Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Care for surgery to remove a cancerous thyroid tumor. The people there are really nice, but it's been one excuse after another and we're still waiting. It may be time to find some other place to take Maggie.
