We brought our 11 month old, German Shepherd, Max, in about a week ago. He was brutally shot in his rear, which fractured both femurs and pierced the groin. The staff was quick to respond and handled him as if he was their own and kept us informed. His conditions were tough and we, unpreparingly, had to make an ultimate decision. It was such a painful process, but the team helped us through the entire process and though I was hysterical, I was also comforted. They ensured all our needs were met in way possible. I highly appr... read more
We had a very positive experience thank you so much for taking care of Susie
The customer service was poorly! So unorganized and uneducated! You need to look for someone who actually cares and loves animals, not someone just to fill your spot!
Thank you so much for A: being open at 4am on a Saturday morning, and B: you're amazing care and attention to our Fur babe Charlee. The staff at EVC was caring, patient, and professional. Dr. Libby gave us options on how to best proceed with our emergency. The goal was the avoid surgery. He was clear and straightforward on what to expect. The staff was also transparent with the cost of each option. We left Charlee there for 12 hours. We received many calls during the day to update us. Due to the great care and attention from... read more
Such caring and professional people. Kadie at the front desk handled the clients with such caring. I took my dog in and she was cared for in as fast and orderly manner as possible. They called home to check on her after we were home. Great place. Hope you never have to use them but, if you do you can feel good about treatment.
I don't normally do reviews but feel compelled due to the excellent care we received last week. My 11yo Dachsy mix became suddenly ill on the 25th. An ER visit didn't reveal much. They got some meds in her to calm the belly and a "camel pack" to rehydrate her. We chaulked it up to an IBD flare up. The 27th we followed up with our vet, by then her belly stopped but she seemed to have gained weight overnight and was having issues breathing. The scaled proved me correct with a 2lb gain since the ER visit. Xrays revealed fluid i... read more
I rarely leave reviews but I want to thank the staff here. My dog suddenly got sick and sadly we lost him. Dr. Libby and the staff took great care of him, and they were so compassionate. It was a painfully hard day, and they went above and beyond to help me. Dr. Lippy took the time to speak to my husband on the phone and explain everything to him. The staff sent us a card sending their regards, and we thought that was very sweet. Our family is grateful to everyone there.
Dr. Powers and his team were amazing and very compassionate. I brought my puppy, Magnolia in as she was very sick. Someone dumped her and her siblings on the side of the road in Colleton County in a trash bag. Magnolia was very ill and Dr. Powers was very upfront about her condition. They tried their best to save sweet Magnolia but unfortunately she was far too sick. Dr. Powers was very compassionate when he called to break the news to me and even thanked me for trying to save for her & give her a chance. We are searching fo... read more
