Came in with my dog for an obvious respiratory emergency. Common sense says a dog that is using accessory muscles should have a chest X-ray right away. Not wait an hour and ask if they can do one. But instead start an IV... oh, and that hour later they finally ask us basic questions about our dog that should have been done at I take. Then wait another 10-15 minutes to bring an estimate, then wait another 10 minutes to pay. Finally after an hour and a half he hopefully gets an X-ray. This makes me question the care and priori... read more

Unprofessional, rude and the employees lie on the clients. Doctor came back and explained anything to us. She did not even come tell us how to give the medications. From JO at the front desk has a major attitude. I have never been treated with so much disrespect. Do not bring your pet here if you can help it

We took our dog to VEC this evening and had a great experience. From the front desk, to the vet tech to Dr. Johnson, everyone was very nice, helpful and took the time to answer all of our questions (and I had a lot of them). They were all quick and efficient. The fees were reasonable. We were fortunate to be able to take Max home, but felt confident in doing so because of their care and explanation on how to handle him. I hope we never have to visit again, but if we do, I would not hesitate to go back there.

We had to make the hardest decision as pet owners yesterday regarding our beautiful cat. The entire staff was so kind and compassionate. We’ve been there before for after hours issues but I feel they went above and beyond all expectations in the quality of care given. They took the time to explain the process and gave us the time we needed with our girl. Thank you for being so wonderful in our moment of heartbreak.

My dog Moe had been to the vet twice within the past 10 days with diarrhea and vomiting. Nothing was working, than on Saturday, when his vet was closed he seemed to be getting worse so we rushed him to this facility. Not only was Dr. Jeremy Libby a wonderful and caring vet, he sent us home with food that seems to have dealt with all of Moe's issues. The staff there is the best and they even followed up today to check on Moe. Thank you for giving my dog such good care <3

Until the second call they decide to tell me to take it that they will attend it. At 1:00 p.m I take my pet race schnauzer for 1 year and 2 months to Veterinary Emergency Care of North Charleston. My pet was pregnant with 7 puppies. With 60 days. Cheerful. Good health. I wanted to give birth to their babies. But Dilata did not and...Continue Reading
