Worst EVER !!! A Dr Kim talks right over you and she made so many mistakes and that’s scary ! Put a call into my lawyer and this vet had no knowledge whatsoever and will be investigated ! My poor pup is so infected under her tummy and she did nothing to help but give me a $160 bill

Through ignorance, incompetence, negligence, or a combination of all three, VCA Veterinary Specialists of CT failed to properly examine and diagnose our cat when we brought him in to the emergency room in May. Vet Specialists of CT have been there for me for more than four years. Having an accident-prone Pitt-mix, we end up at the emergency vet about twice a year. All the staff here is absolutely incredible and go above and beyond to make sure both Bentley and I are at ease. They are thorough with explaining procedures and discussing options. Prior to COVID, we had to bring our elderly feline in because he was acting funny. Within about 5 minutes they diagnosed him with a bladder blockage. He ended up needing surgery and while expensive, they took amazing care of him. I was initially surprised by the cost but it was an emergency surgery and excellent emergency care. 1 star is the minimum. Our dog got hit by a car, 10:00 at night. I goggled a 24hr vet and ended up here. There wasn't a doctor on site so they quoted me his over night stay. $1100-$3300 to make him comfortable over night to be assessed by a doctor in the morning, with a phone call to explain recommendations.
