I had to bring my Doberman, Lexi, in after 6 grand mal seizures in less than 24 hours. The entire team was very compassionate right from the start. Dr. Krzykowski was fantastic and very communicative. Truly appreciate the care they gave my girl. �
Amazing place - amazing people - talented practitioners - a wonderful experience
I have been to them for many emergency visits, unfortunately, but they are always fantastic. I have used Veterinary Specialists of CT for 2 orthopedic surgeries and rehabilitation, several less serious illnesses and injuries, and most recently they got my dog through kidney failure and she's home safe with me now. I knew when I had to leave her there that she was in capable, caring hands. They were great about taking my phone calls and updating me on her. I called late last night about options with putting my older cat to sleep because she had gone downhill very quickly. The triage nurse answered all of my questions and was very understanding. When I brought my poor girl in everyone was welcoming and very thoughtful about the sensitive issue. They walked me through the process which I have never done before, let me stay and hold her through it all and let me sit with her later and take as much time as I needed. My dog had TPLO surgery two months ago that was performed by Dr. Welch. She healed very well and was well cared for when there. Every person there pet her, talked to her and let her kiss them (she loves kissing people!) at every single visit. Even after surgery, she looked forward to going back. They made me feel great and listened when I was upset or had questions. We both had a great experience there!
I can count on all the docs and techs there 100% of the time. 24/7 and I have had to use the emergency side as well as the general practice. my petunia gets excellent care, whether it is a routine visit or a surgery. they have saved her life a number of times. she is all I have, and they treat us like a family member. I recommend them without reservation.
These people are FABULOUS...not only to my dogs but to the injured rabbit who was not going to make it...not injured by my dogs...they helped him peacefully cross the rainbow rabbit bridge...Thanks for that...
