when Dr Berzon meets your dog Barney outside because its easier for Barney to walk on the grass rather than the floor in the building you know you have found the best orthopedic specialist in the state of Ct. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. Dr Galbo, Barneys allergy specialist is amazing as well. Absolutely the best care!! I have been bringing my dogs to Vet Specialists since 1989. They've taken care of eight dogs through thick and thin. Just saved another one today with emergency surgery!
I brought my dog there twice once last year for surgery for a torn acl and again recently for his other leg torn acl. I highly recommend them my dog did wonderful all the staff was caring and wonderful I loved my dogs surgeon even his physical therapist was wonderful
11 months ago I brought my 1 year old Chihuahua Kelley to Dr. Welch for surgery to correct a 'luxating patella' that left Kelley unable to put any weight on her left hind leg. It was extensive surgery and naturally I had a lot of concerns, especially because Kelley so small, weighing only 5 pounds. I'm happy to say that the surgery was a complete success! We received outstanding care from everyone at Vet Specialists of CT. Today Kelley is 100% back to normal and I couldn't be more grateful!
