We brought our Old English Bulldog in with Kennel Cough and a poisoning incident and the team could not be nicer! They took my information on the phone while driving there so we could be seen immediately. The doctor and team made us feel at ease and were absolutely wonderful. Thank you!!!

I had to take my 100 pound lab in on Sunday. It was a long drive and my original diagnosis was she got poisoned somehow and time counted. The Lakeland emergency hospital had no doctors for 2 hours. The people at VHA were so nice and helpful. Two assistants had to come out to my car because my dog dud not want to go into the building. She was having trouble standing up and walking. Everyone was great and the doctor diagnosed the problem. It wasn't poison thankfully. They treat my dog like a rock star. Great help and lots of a... read more

I really didn’t get much advice for my cat. She had suffered 2seizures and all I got after almost 3 hours was “well we still need to do a blood test” and a bottle of pain medicine. And told to see my own vet on Monday. I lost her yesterday at my vet’s I realize emergency care is needed, but why did I have sit with my cat next to me for 3 hours just to get pain relief medicine
The Office is always clean and well-maintained. The staff is always Friendly, warm and welcoming. I also love that they are available 24/7. The Vets are very thorough with exams and make you and your pet feel comfortable. We’ve only had positive experiences at VHA and my dog seems to enjoy coming here!
