I have used Veterinary Healthcare Associates for a few emergencies with my pets. Last night was one of those times. They are the best around. We actually lost a pet there a few years ago due to negligence of another vet and they made things as easy as they could. They did all they could for her. They are always very kind and respectful. Highly recommended.
This clinic charges 3-4 times what other veterinarians do for medications. Eye drops during examination that are $9 at other clinics are $36 here. My dog was allergic to $96 drops they told me I had to get and they wouldn't refund them or try to help in anyway. Their response was "just don't give it to him then." Why would you make people buy medicine that expensive just to turn around and say to basically just throw it away? Had to wait 2 hours past my appointment time to even see the doctor. Dr. Nations and his staff are absolutely amazing. I had to take my German Shepherd for an abdominal ultrasound because after my primary vet saw what looked like a tumor on her spleen. This was very stressful for me and I feared the worse. Dr Nations did the ultrasound and delivered very good news, no tumors! He looked beyond just the spleen and checked her entire abdomen including all organs etc. He and his staff treated my furkid with genuine care and was just as amazing with my fears. They absolutely love on my babies and my babies love them. My dogs pull me TOWARDS the door when we get out of the car. Kennel staff is wonderful! I know I don’t have the easiest of babies to deal with, but they’re always very accommodating and love on my babies. My big boy loves him some Dr Barnes! One of my pups has special needs (blind since birth) and watching her grow and blossom with them has been great too 😻

They are very professional, understanding. They listen to when you have concerns about your pets. The staff is amazing. I've been going there for many years with several cats and dogs and believe me when I tell you they were in the best of hands.
