One of the favorites – Vesta Dipping Grill is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. I love the deemed lights and the candle light without the white table cloth. The inside of the building is very contemporary and unusual in a funky king-of-way. The wonderful presentation, yummy dishes and the combination of sauces make the food taste like something out of this world. Before dining at Vesta, I would have never thought of dipping my venison in a Dried Berry Chutney and Smoked Pinaple sauce, but now I can't get enough!
Best Food and Service Combo EVER (period) – I travel a lot for work. I also tend to pick where the staff and I will eat after a long day's work. We've all eaten at some very fine places in the past few years of travels to just about every major city in the US. Our experience at the Vesta Dipping Grill was the apex of our experiences thus far. Arriving with all of our gear and no reservations, we were treated well from the start. We sidled up to the bar and were served with vigor and a smile - very promptly. We were seated in... read more
Not that great – I went here expecting the "best restaurant in Denver" and it was far from it. I got the half chicken which was already soaked in too many spices and flavors that there was really no point in dipping it in anything. It was just a little too salty for me. Overall, this place is too expensive for what you get.
No major complaints. – Me and my wife ate here for one of our honeymoon dinners while we were in dinner. I chose this place because of the unique dipping sauce idea that I read about, I'm a MAJOR dipper. We were quite impressed by the ambiance, lighting, tables, etc. It was quite a long wait to get our entrees, at least 45 minutes. Our service was decent, nothing spectacular, we didn't really receive that much attention I guess since we only ordered waters (we did apps and drinks next door before hand). I was quite excited w... read more
Consistently good food – Have been to Vesta many times, date or big celebration. The service is always great and so is the food...not that Vesta needs another good review. Very good food and very good service...rare to find both at one place.
Great Atmosphere – We went there last Christmas Eve and was very impressed with the food. At first we were not so sure that we could find anything on the menu that we would like but the waiter was very helpful and asked us what we normally liked and then made recommendations. We were impressed with how good everything was.
Great for a swanky date. – We went there on a double date with some good friends and it was good food and good fun. Try the pita appetizer as you can test some of the dips before your meal. We each had a different plate and loved our dipping sauces and were using each others as well! The atmosphere is very trendy, but not too cold. Our service was excellent. Next time we will have to try dessert! The only con - the prices were a little high. But worth it.
Even with a reservation. – Stopped in on busy friday night and was seated within 45 min. 45 spent at the bar sipping a great mojito and noshing on the vesta tuna roll chatting with my love and listening in on the others around me..... what a shame. Great attention from the servers and very modern atmosphere... just a little noisy. You'll have to lean over to really hear what the other person is saying. Darn... we'll have to get close!
Great for kids – Man does this place cater to children! It is sometimes hard to find a really great place to eat and be able to take the kids. Amenities include highchairs/booster seats, sippy cups and a diaper changing station. Not to mention the kids menu! I highly recommend Vesta for all kid accompanied restaurant goers.
