I purchased a new home September 30th 2021 and chose State Farm as my homeowners insurance. At the time I was very satisfied with my coverage however; on 10/19/2021 I came home to my bedroom, hall, daughters room and hall bathroom flooded. My new carpet had only been installed for 5 days. We were not even completely unpacked. I had to file a homeowners insurance claim after only 20 days in our house . All our walls and flooring had to be pulled out and dried out. Please don’t waste your money or time on this company they are over flooded with claims that they have a poor way of handling each claim. My claim was filed at the beginning of December, they were passing along different information each time. I felt as if I worked for them because nothing would get done unless I called to ask for updates. They kept referring me back to the app that literally didn’t have much information at at. State Farm destruction General customer service they have all these clauses that they don't tell you about they take your money every month will give you no assistance and your life is on hold until they decide what they want to do never would I recommend State Farm to anybody in the world they want their money every month but when you have to put a claim in forget it it'll take forever and they don't care your life is on hold they have their own codes and language just like lawyers do
State Farm should be ashamed of themselves!!! If I could leave -10 for stars I would! I am a single mother of six, and I have water damage from a recent storm in upstate **. I took the pictures reported it like I was suppose to, and they told me I didn’t do it soon enough, and I should’ve hired someone to have tarped my whole house???? I have black mold, broken windows and broken tiles inside my house and they said their not covering anything!!!! My parents have had them for house insurance forever and have never filed a cla... read more
