Wouldn't give them any stars if I could and think the 1.28 rating is still to high. Have been dealing with State Farm for about a month now trying to get our roof replaced after a hail store left damage to our roof. Called in the claim and with in several minutes had the adjuster scheduled to come out. Wow....where do I start? I am a return customer after having my license suspended due to fix it tickets. Received my license back and was all set to get back to this aweome company (snorts). Paid May insurance and Junes. Then insurance was cancelled. Apparently because of my newly licensed status (which NOONE could tell me on the phone) So ive been dealing with people who know nothing. Drop us after 40 plus years because we file 3 claims. State Farm only paid for our storm damage roof. Zero on the shower linkage. We have paid them thousands of dollars. They only paid $6,000 toward our new roof. They are not a good neighbor.
I called the claims department to try to understand why a claim was denied. I was talked to like I was stupid for not understanding. I was told I needed to go read our policies again. Every time I asked the same question again due to not understanding the first time I was told "I've already explained this to you". Massive crooks! They kept taking more money out of my account every month with no explanation why! I had them 3 months and dropped them! Will never use them again!
I would like to file q complaint on the most disposable and unprofessional agent i have ever spoken too. I recently got into a car accident, to get more details about my claim i called State Farm, and spoke to an Agent JERÓNIMO *******, From External Claim Resource. Agent delivers information of un truth. Telling others someone has a POA allowing them to make decisions in my behalf.
State Farm as a whole does not even deserve one star. We filed a home claim on May 7, 2021. It has been a complete nightmare for almost three months. We have been loyal customers of State Farm for eighteen years and that means nothing. They refuse to call our claim what it is, which is a burst pipe. Horrible auto claims experience. I had to pay out of pocket around $1,500. What’s the point of having collision insurance if they don’t actually cover you? Not to mention, they took many days to actually getting around to looking at my claim. I’m going to switch insurance companies as soon as I can.
