They charge double what other companies do and when you call to complain they say its my fault for choosing a variable rate plan. They have lousy customer service and they are a ripoff!!!
I get a call from this scam company nearly every day on my cell phone saying they are calling in regard to my electric bill with them. I don't have an electric bill from them. I've blocked every single number they call me with, yet somehow they keep getting new numbers. Fed up with it, company is a scam, total BS.
I have never heard of this company in my life. Today i got a bill in my email from them stating i owe them 101.98, I'm not sure what caused them to think they can bill me but I have *******in *****. I tried to call every number i have and no one is answering. I have no idea how this company got my email and my name and information but if they dont remove me from whatever system they have and stopped trying to bill me im going to get my attorney involved. They leave a message on my cellphone to call them back. The phone never rings. My phone number has been on the DNC list for many years. I never had any business with these people and my energy company does not have my cell phone. They are dialing numbers at random in violation of the rules. At these point there nothing more than scam artists as far as I am concerned.

I got a call from ******* energy saying if I was aware my energy company had been changed. Of course I wasn't since I had just recently switched with them in July. Some random people going around to ask if they want to switch. The first time they came around I told them no, I wasn't interested. Verde called today on my cell phone which is on the National Do Not Call List. The message said that they are partners with ********** and to call them back and give the reference number they gave. I was suspicious since ********** has my cell phone number ONLY to contact me for outages or disconnects, NO other purpose, but I called them back. This company is a total rip off! In the past 10 years, I have never incurred such a ridiculously high bill. During the summer months most people utilize energy more, I don't. I'm rarely home and have low meter readings during this time but VERDE's delivery cost is so high that it's as if I'm running 3 industrial AC's 24/7! I've been getting multiple phone calls a day. Asking me if I'm interested in saving on energy costs. I do not live NY anymore but they continue to call me even after i tell them I'm not interested.

This company keeps calling me multiple times per day, despite telling them that I am not interested in their service. I am also on the do not call list, which clearly means nothing to these people. I am surprised they have such a good review on BBB since their calling practices are so sketchy.
