Was kindly told today that even though I’ve been diagnosed by a DOCTOR with fibromyalgia, that fibromyalgia wasn’t real and the DOCTOR didn’t believe in it. If you have fibro stay away. I waited over an hour to have the dr roll her eyes at me and argue with me about the pain im in daily... the kicker is I wasn’t even there for a fibromyalgia related reason. I was there for an infection in a wound.
Was just seen last night. I waited around 45 minutes but was treated kindly, diagnosed quickly, and given appropriate medications. I feel so much better today. Will return.

I only gave them a 2 because the front desk and triage nurse were good. The doctor on the other hand sucked. He couldn't help me but he also didn't offer any ideas to make me a little bit comfortable, either. Like maybe put a warm compress or ice or something. I didn't know what to do. Second terrible experience at Velocity.
I just want to say that Velocity Urgent Care - Holland Road, Virginia Beach is amazing! They have actual doors unlike patient first and were so quick at getting me in and out! The staff was genuine and made me feel really comfortable! I def recommend this place over patient first. 😍🤧 that being said time to get lots of rest. Upper respitory infection and bronchial inflammation. Yuck😷
