You don't even remember the restaurant was vegetarian/vegan. Always great service, atmosphere and creative dining (and drinking) choices. While it is almost impossible to get a reservation in "prime time," they keep a few tables in the bar area for walk-ins, which we've scored the last two times (where we decided to chance it). Or book a table way in advance, or off-peak. A must-try dining destination in Philly, regardless of your food preferences.
I made reservations back in March for my sister's Birthday on July 29th. A week out I called the restaurant to confirm the reservation and to ask for a special table. I was informed all seats were good. Not true, we were seated upon arrival in a tiny front room next to a crowed table of 6 young people having a very boisterous dinner. We had a great experience at Vedge. The food was amazing and our server was so knowledgeable. Can't wait to return. I even bought their cookbook !!
I heard so many good things, but although delicious the selection was small along with the portions. The staff was friendly, the service was great and the atmosphere was nice. But overall, the price didn't match the product.
Amazing, absolute must! I'll be back soon! Next time i may order one of everything on the menu!
Amazing place! Took my Fiancé here for his Birthday and he loved it! My fave is the stuffed avocado and the Roasted Carrot it's soooo good! This is a MUST if you're planning on visiting Philadelphia. Can't leave Philly without trying Vedge!
My favorite place to eat, drink and be merry. I'm obsessed with the pretzel, and the starter:cucumber celery soup, oh and the grilled carrot! Soooo goood! Super cute date night spot. One random thing: when we got there we were told they had no tables for 2 available, and were offered to eat at the bar, we chose to wait the 30min for a table, and the second we sat down at the bar to grab a drink, the same person told us he had a table open up. Walking to the back, clearly there were tons of tables open for 2,4,6 people even. ... read more
Fabulous!! Exceptional service & delicious food!! Elegant interior too!!! I got the following: potato dish, mushroom dish, tofu dish, & the ambrosia dessert!! Yum!!! :) So worth it!!! I visited from Boston to get to this restaurant. It was fabulous!!! I can't say enough about the food & service.
The food and service was amazing!!! We had a big party and I'm pretty sure we tried at least one of everything and it was all fabulous!
