**** STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS **** Perhaps what they should do is NOT place covering the costs of people who don't pay on the backs of people who can. I had blood-work scheduled by my Dr. there. Stopped by, 3 units, same chemistry/hematology as the test done at my primary care office. Cost at my primary care, $200. Cost at VCU Health - $1126. There is NO excuse for this ! I am changing facilities and Dr.'s as soon as I can! What can be done? Nothing....they have literally robbed me of my money to cover their state support... read more

My husband was a patient there last month for almost 2 weeks. He was in the Cardiology unit due to Congestive Heart Failure. I must say, he received excellent care while there.
Long time client of VCU Health. Today’s colonoscopy was streamlined, all staff encountered were courteous and professional, and every staff member encountered was informative and helpful. Amazing how many smiles I encountered today. Thank you. Thanks also to my VCU primary care provider, Dr. Kathie Cho, for reminding me it was time for this important screening.
Here is a sleeping pill, how would you like to be raped? Well.....
The whole place is amazing!
My husband was James Davis was as patient there from 3-27-17 until he passed 5-4-17 he needed a liver transplant and the Doctors and staff was wonderful they went above and beyond to try and save his life although it didn't happen i will be forever grateful. Many thanks to the staff in ICU and on the 9th floor. We were even married there and the staff even helped to make that day special for us.
My son was here in July and they were fabulous! I would only trust them with his health for the future!
I have had nothing but the best care from staff at VCU. From amazingly caring nurses during each stay ive had to awesome surgeons and doctors to address my needs. My first stay was in August 2018 after being hit by a car while waiting to cross the street to my home. I broke my arm, severed my nerves, broke 8 ribs and punctured my lung.I encountered many different staff members and received passionate care by the doctors/surgeons and the nurses in the ER, OR and the ICU for the entirety of my 9 day stay. Since this first visi... read more
