I felt like Queen for a Day! I had the most comforting amazing experience October 18, 2018 on 5th Floor Gateway. The entire staff just bowled me over with their professionalism, great attitudes and genuine desire to keep me comfortable before, during and after my surgery. Great job VCU.
One of VCU Health's initiatives is to educate people and help them to stay healthy. I attended the Atrial Fibrillation Seminar last night, with Dr Santosh Padala and Dr Jayanthi Koneru presenting information on how to deal with and work toward greater control of A-Fib. Great hospital and staff!
It has been the worst 5 weeks of almost no information, vague voicemails and $3500 worth of bills. Trying to get a message through is ridiculous. Getting a call back harder. The portal has not loaded the lab results. I received one message from them that said “now”. Useless and very disappointing and had come highly recommended. The doctor scrolled through her personal texts during the appointment. And that’s the smallest of my complaints! I can’t wait to find the correct people to write letters to about this.
So far we have seen good medical practice, no complaints.
The quality of care given in the neurological Dept.
VCU Health personnel should clearly understand which insurance companies they accept to avoid giving false information to elderly patients.
It was good for the reason that we had to go there but I would rather not have to go
I had a real bad fall back in May of this year and flown to VCU. I sustained several broken bones and had to have 2 major surgeries. Excellent Doctors. Excellent trama care once I got into to hospital by staff. My nurses Sarah, Brook,Tracey were the best. I could never thank these professionals enough. I don't know their last names 9th floor. Thank you so much for all you have done for me and my family. God Bless each and everyone.
