Shame on the management of Woodford Vet Clinic! VAC, sometimes it better to keep things the same as our fur babies are just that ... our babies and a Vet like Dale Eckert is hard to find! I know that he will be ok because of his faith in God and his abilities to treat his folks and their pets with compassion. He has always done the absolute best with our pets so..... Watch out because his folks will find where he lands and will follow! You can hire all kinds of vets but none to fill his shoes!
Apparently Dr. Eckert is no longer working at this clinic because of a bad business decision made at the corporate level. I have taken my many pets to him, (along with Dr. Jolly) since 1995. He recently saw my dearly departed Roscoe through a year and a half of lymphoma treatment and he had great quality of life! I could never see myself putting an animal on chemo, but Dr. Eckert explained to my husband and I how effective the treatment would be for his diagnosis. We trusted him and he was right, of course! RecommendedThis is the place to go for the best vet care. Over many years, we have mostly seen Dr. Jolly and Dr. Eckert. We make the drive from out-of-town and it’s so worth driving the extra distance.
Everyone is so friendly and efficient and I know they are doing their very best for my pet.

My Vet Dr. Ryan Nolty is joining this practice.. altho I hvnt been there yet.. I plan on following Dr. Nolty By the sheer fact that he is going there, it’s a good enough reason to recommend this facility
Thank you Dr. Korten and VCA staff for saving Bon Bon! She is doing so well and recovered smoothly from her linear foreign body surgery. This was a big procedure for such a small dog, but the staff was so caring and soothed all my worries. I highly recommend VCA for anything you need, especially in an emergency! Dr. Korten called me personally every day (she stayed 5 days) to give an update and he was thorough answering all of my questions. We have been going to Woodford Vet for over 20 years. We love Dr. Eckert. We’ve seen a couple of the other providers a time or two and were pleased with them as well.
Absolutely the best place to go for veterinary care! Dr. Dabney has been beyond amazing, especially caring for animals during a global pandemic! So compassionate and caring... not just for the animals, but for their owners too. We have received lots of updates on our 8 month old Yorkie in their care, having to have emergency surgery. Love love love! Will always recommend bringing your pets here to be well cared for!
