Dr. Eckert has been the best there! He has been my vet for almost 40 yrs. The only reason I kept coming there once VCA took over was due to Dr. Eckert and being able to have 24/7 vet services available. And Tracy and Shirley being the best up front. VCA what you have done is despicable!! Dr. Eckert cares for the animals, clients and staff more than any other vet there or anywhere! Think your decision over VCA...... get rid of the ones that don’t want or have 24/7 coverage for their clients or the compassion!!
Shame on you VCA you made a terrible decision to get rid of Dr.Eckert. I urge anyone seeing this never to go here it would be a disservice to your animal.
Until today, I would have given VCA Woodford 10 stars out of five stars. However, I was shocked and sickened to hear that Dr Dale Eckert has been let go from the hospital. I have been a client for 40 years, with many, many animals, and had fully intended to continue as a client for the rest of my life. I’ve come to realize due to the departure of Dr. Dale Eckert, that a fancy, newly built building does NOT necessarily make it a great place to take our animals...instead, it’s the heart and soul of those who work inside those 4 walls. Money isn’t everything...but the love, compassion, kindness, and true friendship that Dale Eckert has portrayed for over 40 years is far better than any new building ever will be. Backing Dale Eckert all the way.
VCA clinic has made a horrible business decision in removing Dr. Dale Eckert from the practice. He has been taking care of our animals for over 15 years. 3+ years ago we lost our 18 year old son in an accident and our son’s dog never really recovered. A year later, Dr. Eckert sat on the floor of his office with me while we put Duke to sleep. He was as heart broken as we were. This is so not fair for Dr. Eckert. To the girls at the front (Tracy Courtney), Megan Gillespie, you are the best! Dr. Eckert, you are the most caring, compassionate person I know. Sorry to say, I cannot support VCA anymore for what’s been done to someone who did not deserve this kind of treatment. Only about money now that Dr. Eckert is gone. Go see his daughter Casey Eckert in Georgetown if you want someone that cares!
vca is a big business with no concern for Versailles.
We have had an amazing experience there with Dr.Eckhert!We have an older dog & he has been very caring and compassionate during his decline.Please tell me he is truly not gone! We will have to find somewhere else to go I guess.
