I cannot recommend the Ophthalmology depart enough. Dr. Atkins, Dr. Boles, Dr. Schirley and support staff are so kind, skilled and amazing. They took such great care of my French Bulldog. As a Certified Veterinary Technician that has been in the field for 16 years I have met many doctors, and this team is great! Words cannot thank you enough.
Thank you to Dr. Paul Scherlie and his amazing intern for a thorough exam and consultation for our little old rescue poodle, Snoopy. The exam was not traumatic, information was understandable, and I walked away knowing that I brought our little guy to the experts. Thank you VCA NWVS! Highly recommend this compassionate and thorough specialist.

The whole process was a little slow as far as coming in at 945pm on a weekend for X-rays of a potential (later confirmed) intestinal blockage on my 75lb 7.5 y/o husky/Shepard mix from ingesting a woven rug from his separation anxiety. Finally got results that he needed emergency surgery around 2:30am.
