RecommendedHad to take my dog to the vet. She was vomiting all night. Everyone was super.
This is a warning. This animal hospital (VCA Mainland) advertise the first visit free, but this is a scam. They over charged me more than twice the price for an antibiotic (Convenia) shot for my cat. They charged me $68:00 and this particular antibiotic shot costs $26:67 at other vets.
Thank you to all the staff at VCA Mainland Animal Hospital for helping me during the most difficult decision of having to put my 14 yr old Snoop Dogg to sleep. It was one of the toughest things to go through but y'all were so compassionate and kind.

I am so grateful to Dr. Guthrie and Dr. Thurmond and all the staff for the care my two cats have gotten. They really care about the pets that come thru their doors and I won't go anywhere else!!!
We took our cat into VCA several months ago with a fishhook in her front right leg. (She got this when she played with some fishing gear before we adopted her). Dr. Thurman checked her out and said the fishhook was no longer there. While we were traveling recently in New Mexico our cat got very ill. We took her to The Ark Veterinary Clinic and they did blood tests and X-rays. What should show up on the X-ray....the fishhook that I was assured was no longer there. They did a really good job on removing a tumor from my boxers back leg and did a good on neutering my boy dog. Excellent service, friendly people.
