About 15 years ago I took my dog in because she broke her leg. VCA Suggested that I take her to an orthopedic vet. I was 7 months pregnant and said I couldn't afford to do that. They said they could set her leg but she needed to be confined and could only be out to go do her business. I did what I needed and when I took her back to have her checked they said she looked awesome and her leg healed perfectly. They are awesome!!!!

My first visit was on Monday because I wanted a second opinion for my very sick cat. Dr. Mooney was so professional and explained my cat's condition in a way I could easily understand. Once I made the only humane decision, she and the staff treated us both with the utmost compassion. Dr. Mooney helped to make an unbearable situation understandable and as difficult as it was, I was able to walk away knowing I had made the right decision. We've been taking our pets to vca for years and have always been happy with their services. Dr Nortmann is a wonderful, attentive doctor and is so genuine in her care for our "furbabies." My husband said she just seems to have been born to take care animals...and I agree!
