If there were a six star rating offered, I would choose that one. We have three generations of my family who have been bringing their pets, both cats and dogs, to the Elgin Family Pet Center for over 20 years-\-\my mom, myself and my daughter. We feel fortunate to have this caliber of facility in Elgin and we bring our pets there for both their medical needs and boarding. I became ill four years ago and since that time the staff has enabled me many times to bring Elly in for her check ups and any medical attention she needs.... read more

Elgin Family Pet Center took care of my cat during a move from Houston to Austin. They were available to board Ainee for one night and give her a check up with just a walk in, no appt. They had her ready the next afternoon. Made the transition much smoother not worrying about trapping the cat for more time with movers in and out. The staff was very friendly and professional. The wait even early or on time is more then expected. We got here at 9:45am for a 10am appointment, and we're still waiting at 10:30am. Complimentary nail trim nexr visit to make up for the wait though. Their Staff very friendly, professional, informative, and a credited establishment! Thanks
On September 8th, Gus was attacked by some coyotes. His injuries were extensive and for a few days, we were incredibly concerned that he may not make it. I'm so very happy to report that after 4 visits to the vet and following the doctor's orders explicitly regarding his meds and twice daily irrigation of his wounds (yes, I said it) Gus has been given a clean bill of health!! We have taken our Happy here since the day we got him. We rescued him from a pretty bad place and he was full of briars, etc. They cleaned him up and groomed him so nicely. He did not look like the same Sweetheart we took into them. Now when we need to go out of town, we kennel him there as well. He has always been taken good care of and looks healthy and well when we go to get him and bring him home.
