There is only good things about this place. First of all, I have 2 crazy German Shepherds that I know have driven this staff crazy once or twice. But NEVER have they EVER turned me away. Not once. I called for an emergency for my cat the other day, Mr Mustache. He was not doing well and we found out it was a foreign body… My cat swallowed a dime. Crazy right? Fran and Dr. Crawford are amazing. I’ve been taking my dog here for a few years and I can’t say enough good things about them. Dr Metcalf is awesome. She calls in the evening to follow up and spends as much time as needed to answer any questions I have. It is a very personal level of care and they clearly prioritize the health of your pet above anything else. Overall, this is an expertly run family vet that is not only affordable, they have the best interest of your pet as their #1 priority. I high recommend Elgin family pet center

Dr. Metcalf helped us with a rescue puppy! We are located in Maryland and she was very helpful and attentive with our little one who had a ton of special needs. With her help we were able to get her healthy enough for transport to Maryland and the caring staff even called to check in on her a few months later. If we ever pull a puppy from Texas again I will definitely use their services!

My beloved Lab was bitten and my regular vet in Austin, where I live, I work in Manor, was unwilling to “Fit” us in. The folks at Elgin VCA had no issues what so ever getting us in and providing excellent care. They all went above and beyond for our situation and we are greatly appreciative of their efforts. First off, my cat is no easy customer. Previous clinics I’ve always had to come back, with sedation, to get treatment for my cat. This led to many appointments and little results. I decided on VCA from all the great reviews I’ve heard from friends and family. Dr. Streiff was attentive, professional, and had a real personal touch that made me and Flapjack feel at ease.
