In the end, we wish that we would have gone elsewhere. They did not honor the original price they gave us, and months later sent us another outrageous bill. Now threatening legal action against us when what they are doing seems very shady.
Great hospital. I took our Scruffy there for a second opinion. We rescued him as a stray. He tested positive for heart worms. The staff were all wonderful and friendly. I would go back but just a bit far for me to drive. There cost for treatment was about the same as my local vet.
Love VCA! We had just adopted our puppy Lucy and had her for 2 days, when she got sick. Took her to VCA and Dr. Brown confirmed she had the dreaded Parvo! Thanks to Dr. Brown and the staff, our Lucy was one of the lucky ones who survived! We are so grateful! Thank you again for all that you do!

Dr. Erika Bolin is a brave soul. She has been caring for my Rotties since they were 8 weeks old at 23 and 25 lbs. They are now 5 years old and are 122 and 165 lbs. When examining them, she gets down on her knees, in their face nd without hesitation sticks her hand in their mouths checking their gums for anomalies. They let her do whatever she wants...they trust her and so do I.
I LOVED my experience at VCA DeSoto!!! I brought my pup in to have her incision checked after being spayed at an outside clinic. Not only did Dr. Caroline Brown address my concerns but she was also THE MOST compassionate, attentive, caring vet I've ever seen. Zellie immediately bonded with her. After checking her incision, Dr. Brown proceeded to check everything from Z's teeth down to her nails. This is the worst place to take your pet the Drs there are so unsympathetic if you don't have a fortune to spend on your pet they could care less
I absolutely love Desoto VCA Animal Hospital! 11 years ago, my puppy was bitten by ants and developed an allergic reaction. I was so scared and frantically rushed my puppy to this hospital. Although, I didn't an appointment, the staff quickly took Cookie and treated her. The vet on call and the staff calmed me down and was so calming and gentle with my puppy girl.
