Our dog experienced xylitol toxicity, and her usual vet DENIED to take her because they were “closing in an hour” as she was on the verge of dying. We found VCA Old Marple, who took her quickly and basically saved her life. She will now be switched here for primary care! Cannot thank this animal hospital enough for their help, responsive customer service, and care.

My cat almost died from the dr that treated him. We brought him in for eating choc cupcakes . They gave him an injection to throw it up which he did . The injection also was a sedation to keep him from being too hyper which could affect his heart. When we brought him home I thought he had died he was so lethargic I called they said to bring him back in there we’re going to give him a reversal shot and there would be no charge. I don't want to get into many details. But we have had 1 cat die here after spending a lot... i mean a lot. More recently we got charged a good amount for a visit and when asked if we should treat our other cat was told no he should be fine. Now he is sick and they want even more money. It's a real shame places like this care more about money then taking care of animals. We were reminded with this past visit why we stopped going to old marple and why we will never return. we took our 10 year old Bella (dog) there yesterday with diarrhea and she was seen as an emergency and was seen quickly and everyone was so nice and we are so grateful that she is ok and for it being an emergency we knew it wasn't going to be cheap but it wasn't as expensive as we thought.
